Climate Rain electrical storms conceivable in front of frosty front Orlando Sentinel

“Winter doesnu2019t want to say goodbye to Central Florida just yet.
Forecasters say a cold front should make its way into the area by Tuesday, dropping overnight low temperatures into the 40s through Friday.
The cooler weather is part of a larger system that is expected to bring dangerous blizzard conditions to parts of the Midwest and Northeast. As of Monday morning, the winter storm had already prompted at least four flight cancellations and dozens of delays at Orlando International Airport, officials said.
Travelers were urged to check their flight statuses before heading to the airport. Officials were expecting additional delays and cancellations.
The front is expected to move into Central Florida by Tuesday morning. Before then, most of the area will likely see widespread showers and thunderstorms, said Tim Sedlock, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Melbourne.”
